Pebble in the Pond Annual General Meeting |

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the meeting. We welcome your ideas on how to reduce plastic garbage in our community! Pebble in the Pond will report out on the many successful activities undertaken in the past year, and the amazing progress Powell River has made as a community. We will also provide a preview of projects planned in the next 12 months. Membership fees have played a key role in helping Pebble in the Pond make a big splash that is making good waves in our community.

Pebble in the Pond President Judi Tyabji to Speak at Earth Day in Vancouver, Victoria
POWELL RIVER (APRIL 19, 2010)— Chapters Indigo Books & Music is partnering with some
of BC’s most prominent not-for-profits to celebrate Earth Day in Vancouver & Victoria, and
Powell River-based Pebble in the Pond (www.pebpond.com) was included in the invitation to present.
The “Read Local, Buy Local” series consists of 28 free sessions open to the public, including
family activities, readings, talks and demonstrations.
Judi Tyabji will speak on Saturday, April 24 at the Chapters in Vancouver at 2505 Granville
Street at 1 p.m. and in Victoria on Sunday, April 25 at Chapters in Victoria at 1212 Douglas
